Story

Hi Everyone,

UPDATE...

Well I've done it!! I can't believe I managed it, pulled muscle in leg 40 mins in to climbing it and that last half hour up to the top - hardest thing ever had to do. But it was so worth it, just had to think of Magda and all the money on both my pages to drag myself up there! I will keep pages active till end of month and then send money away.. so not too late for those that didnt sponsor as didnt believe i would do it ;) Heres why it was all so worth it....

My good friend Magda and her new husband were delighted to find out she was pregnant in October 08 and even more so when finding out they were to expect a little girl. However in May 09, 2 weeks to Magda's due date she found out her baby girl Olivia had died. It was heartbreaking and seemed so unfair. It only got worse, only 2 weeks later Magda found a lump in her breast. She later found out she had breast cancer, the most agressive cancer which involves her having chemotherapy which is due to finish May this year. The thing that has amazed me and those closest to her, she has dealt with this with such strength and still smiles as always. Doctors later told Magda that the hormones from the pregnancy had likely caused the cancer. You will understand why I have picked SANDS Still Born and also Breast Cancer Campaign (have another page) So please, please give genrously and would appreciate if you could donate 50/50 to both charities or to any of the two you feel more strongly towards.

Let the training begin :)

xx
