Story
On Wednesday the 10th of August this year, I will be cutting my hair after 8 years of growing it on behalf of Mowgli Street Food Oxford, to raise money for the Oxford Hospital charity children's oncology ward.
The Mowgli Trust was set up by Mowgli founder, Nisha Katona MBE, to raise money for charities within the local communities of Mowgli restaurants and to also support international charities that aid villages in India. As part of the Mowgli Trust, for every Mowgli restaurant that opens we partner with a local charity.
Mowgli Street Food Oxford has supported The Oxford Hospital Charity since April and has already raised over £65,000, from adding a £1 discretionary donation onto the the end of every bill.
This isn’t where we stop. We want to raise more money and awareness for the life changing services that Oxford hospital charity provides.
The donations will be going to specifically the childrens oncology department. This will help with getting equipment that is needed and just to help making the childrens lives easier
The whole team at Oxford has watched the charity evolve and grow since we started our partnership and has provided us with the opportunity to learn and understand the importance of the specialist services they provide.
That’s why, on the 10th of August I will be taking part in cutting my hair to celebrate and champion our house charity,
If you would like to show your support, every donation will go directly to Oxford Hospital Charity and help them continue their life changing services.
Our goal is to raise £400 by the 14th of August 2022
Please help all you can. If you’re unable to donate, please spread the word.
