Women are still getting breast cancer and dying from it. That’s why Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer have joined forces to become the UK’s largest dedicated breast cancer research charity. And with your help, together we can put an end to breast cancer, once and for all.

Story

Before Mum died in 2009, I made her a promise that I would run a marathon in aid of breast cancer research.  What possessed me to say such a thing I’ll never know, but it's not a promise I intend to break.

Breast Cancer Campaign have offered me a charity place in the 2011 London Marathon, so I'm getting my running shoes on!

All the treatment that Mum faced and the pain she went through, yet she lived with a smile on her face.  She was a fighter and never gave up, nor did she stop smiling, and that's how I plan to tackle my training.

Cancer has taken my Mum from me way too early and I don't want anyone else to go through the same pain.  We have to stop this disease and the only way I can help is by raising lots of money so that research can take place.

I aim to raise as much money as possible and will do whatever I can to reach my goal.  I hope you'll help me along the way!

Thanks again to everyone for all the support you've given my family and me over the years.  It's meant so much to us.

I miss you Mum!!
