Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Claire, Kiera, Niamh and Finn will be cycling 100 miles from Salisbury to Henley-on Thames (with a few detours to get the miles!) in aid of Neuroblastoma UK.  My great-niece, Elara, was diagnosed with this rare form of cancer when she was two.  One year on, she has undergone nine rounds of high dose chemotherapy and had a stomach tumour removed.  She's currently recovering from the latest intensive chemo treatment, having spent 9 weeks in isolation in hosptial with her mum - it's been really tough on them.  We wanted to do something positive with our time in lockdown so we've been training and now hope to raise some money in support of a charity which has provided support to Elara and her parents and funds research into this rare cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
