There may have been times in your life you needed someone to talk to, without judgement or trying to fix things, simply to listen and hold the space for you to share your feelings. Samaritans are there 24/7 365 days a year to listen and offer emotional support to our callers, without judgement. 

I have been a listening volunteer for Herefordshire Samaritans since 2012 and was fortunate enough to get a place in the London Marathon. As the branch is a charity in its own right, it raises funds and pays for all its operating costs. The branch is run and managed entirely by volunteers and I wanted to add some extra support to keeping this branch running, supporting people both locally and  nationally as the branch enters its 50th year.
