Event: Supernova Kelpies 2019, on 8 November 2019
In memory of Susan Mcbride
We provide therapy, support, and community to those with neurological conditions

Story

On Friday 8th November, at 8pm I'm putting on my running trainers, pulling up my tutu, leg warmers, head torch and painting myself in glow in the dark paint and participating in the Kelpies Supernova 5km run in memory of my Mum (Susan).

At the young age of just 32, my Mum was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and battled with the degenerative disease for 20 years. I was just 2 when she was diagnosed. Growing up and living with a parent who suffered from MS became part of "the norm" - it was far from normal life.

My passion for running is strengthened because my Mum was stripped of the ability to use her legs.

So if you can spare a few pennies or pounds, please donate so we can continue to help to provide support for those in living with MS and I'll run the ass out of this run!

Thank you x
