Story

🏃‍♀️ Support Claire who is running for Empire Fighting Chance.

My goal is to raise 💸 £300 for running 3 half marathons for Empire Fighting Chance. That's just £100 per half marathon!

This money would help fund a 20-week programme for a young person. Combining non-contact boxing with mentoring, therapy, education and careers, this 1-1 support will help to transform a young life. Please donate to help provide this service for our community's young people.

Empire Fighting Chance use a powerful combination of non-contact boxing and intensive personal support to challenge and inspire young people to realise their unique potential. The boxing gym is just a 5-minute walk from my house and the positive impact they have improves the lives of young people on our doorstep.

Empire focuses on vulnerable young men and women, including those excluded from school, involved in crime and experiencing mental health issues. Run from gyms in deprived communities, they offer young people a tailored programme featuring boxing, mentoring, education, therapy and careers support. Their work changes lives, improving young people’s education, mental health and career prospects.

78% of targeted young people that were committing antisocial/criminal behaviour are no longer causing either.

84% are no longer hanging out on the streets.

75% progress into further learning opportunities.

That sounds worth every penny to me! 🥊
