Brake is a national charity working to prevent road death and injury and support those bereaved and injured in road crashes. There are 5 people die on our roads every day and hundreds more serious injured. Visit www.brake.org.uk to find out more about our life-saving work. 

Earlswood school is right by our house, where there are numerous accidents involving children each year. The school campaign and design posters to encourage drivers to slow down and the community speed watch are always by the church because cars hurtle down St.Johns Road. 

If by running, I can raise awareness of the the charity and the work they do, maybe i can help to reduce the number of drivers speeding... resulting in the unimaginable - killing a child!
