Steren Nessa was our shining star who completed our beautiful family on 8th July 2018, at an impressive 10lb 8 3/4s!!! Steren was a content, happy little girl who brought light to so many. Ellowyn was a proud, protective big sister who loved her just as much as Mark and I. Within the first few weeks Steren thrived wonderfully. Sadly, Steren was diagnosed with a mitochondrial disease and went into liver failure and slowly deteriorated, needing more and more intervention and support. On the 23rd October Sterens little body could no longer muster the energy to fight, and the decision no parent should ever have to make was made, and we turned off her life support. Steren passed away peacefully in our arms. Were setting up this fundraising page to raise vital funds to support families and individuals affected by a mito diagnosis, helping fund research into treatments for mito patients, and to hopefully, one day, find a cure for mito. All in memory of our beautiful Steren Nessa.
