As most of you are aware we tragically lost our mum in May, 8 days after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This type of cancer, once found, is most of the time to late to cure.  Mum was so weak when diagnosis that chemo was not an option, it had already spread to her liver. Cancer affects so many peoples lives and im sure most of you will have been affected in one way or another.

Our aim is too help cancer research uk raise as much money as possible to help continue with there hard work in being able to do the right tests for earlier diagnosis and evently find a cure for this terrible illness.

We are holding a charity night at the Rose, Paganhill on 29th January 2011, the day after mums 53rd birthday, with a disco, buffet chilli that people can buy, an auction and raffle.  All proceeds to cancer research uk.
