This year is the year of my big 40 and I am dreading to be fair I still think I am in my 20’s. So to commiserate being 40 I  am taking on a challenge or 2 every month for the next 12 months. I will be doing 10ks, half marathons, full marathons, ultra marathon, muddy obstacle courses, triathlons which are completely out of my comfort zone and pushing my body. I figure every challenge I do I can then drown my sorrows and continue to be young at heart . 

And I decided that I would like to raise money for a worth charity and one close to my heart so I am raising money for go commando which is a small local charity. The charity helps serving and veteran Royal Marines and there families in time of need from financial, martial difficulties through to help with addiction and mental health. This charity don’t get the recognition it deserves so for the next twelve months everything I raise will be going towards them.

My first event is the 19th of January and is Braunton 10k . No I have also roped the family in and the kids have events coming up as well so watch this page for our adventures over the next 12 months. So instead of a birthday drink a donation of any kind would be much appreciated....😘👍🤞
