The Willibob's National 3 Peaks Challenge

National 3 Peaks Challenge · 1 June 2017
Hi everyone! So here's the reason why we are doing our Challenge and raising money for such a fantastic cause.
My childhood friend Euan Duff...well his dad Colin was diagnosed with chronic blood cancer in 1980 and in 2014 he urgently needed a stem cell transplant; luckily a donor was found in Germany who was a match.
In 2014, Euan took on 10 sporting events in 100 days, starting with a half-ironman triathlon in Cumbria as his dad began chemotherapy. Colin’s first transplant proved unsuccessful and he needed a second transplant that Christmas.
In July 2015, Euan and his friend James followed the route of Colin’s second stem donation by cycling 1,100 miles from Germany to Scotland.
Just weeks later, Euan ran the Great North Run with brother Callum before doing the Penrith Triathlon a few days after that.
With the help of family and friends, Euan has raised nearly £17,000 through a series of challenges.
The Duff family have played a huge role in my life; Mummy Duff was my child minder throughout primary school and to this day Euan and I remain dear friends. To show our support to them we want to do this Challenge and put ourselves through the hard paces of mountain climbing; it's the least we can do after Euan put himself and his body through so much to raise £17,000! For those of you who aren't aware of the 3 Peaks Challenge, we have to ascend and descend Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24hours! With the help of some friends and family we are hoping to complete this over 1-2 June 2017.
So please help us and our team of wonderful friends doing this with us reach our target by donating whatever spare change you can; Anthony Nolan does so much that a lot of people aren't aware of and the money will only help towards them evolving further. While you're at it take a peak at their website and get your name on the register!
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and thank you if you have donated; it means so much to us. Love The Willibob Team x
