Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2014 Orry and Rufus were born at 36 weeks. Whilst Rufus was a healthy (for a twin!) 5lbs 10, Orry had severe Interuterine growth restriction (IUGR) and had basically stopped growing at about 29 weeks and was just 3lbs. Not too tiny for a premature baby but very small for almost full term. He spent his first 2 weeks on Buscot ward at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and the care we all received there was amazing. Bibs as a charity works tirelessly to give every baby no matter how small or how sick the very best care - we met many parents and babies that had been there for much longer than 2 weeks. They also offer support for parents and siblings at such a difficult time.  We were so grateful for the care and support we got over those 2 weeks and are so proud that Orry is now a strong, football loving nearly 6 years old!
