On Sunday 26th August, my sister and I will don our most acceptable pair of trainers (we're not the sporty type) and walk 10k to raise funds for The Beatson.

Over the past 6 years, Colette and I have seen first hand the incredible work and services The Beatson provides not just for their patients but for families too. Over the years they have provided our Mum with wonderful care and pampering thanks to their incredible day room, volunteers and staff when she has needed it. Our Gran also spent her last few months at The Beatson and we were incredibly grateful for their care.

So we think it's about time we gave back!
