Thank you for visiting Claire’s page where we are trying to raise as much as possible in her memory to help support AMMF, a charity very close to her and our hearts.

In September 2017 Claire was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer - Cholangiocarcinoma, cancer of the bile duct. Over the past 16 months Claire has fiercely and courageously fought this devastating disease.

It feels like a cliche to say she was brave or inspirational but really those words just don’t even begin to do her justice. She’s taken everything thrown at her in her stride...the treatment, the side effects, the countless hospital appointments. She stayed positive, she kept smiling and she carried on living her life.

Claire died on 22nd December 2018. She was so special and she will be so missed by all of us.

Claire felt passionately about raising money for AMMF and specifically asked that people donated to AMMF rather than send flowers for her funeral. There is such limited knowledge of Cholangiocarcinoma and AMMF were a great support to Claire, her family and her friends following her diagnosis. Please help us to support them in continuing to raise awareness, improving the treatment options available to those who are diagnosed and maybe even one day finding a cure.
