Story

We are doing this again this year because of the great work they do.

Rotarians working with Godalming Town Council, The Godalming & Villages Coronavirus Assistance Group and The Food Bank at St Marks are supporting local efforts to raise funds to help local families struggling as a direct result of the pandemic. This is likely to a very worrying time for people that have recently lost their jobs, been furloughed or are waiting to receive Universal Credit, They may have thought they would never need to use a food bank, this is something that happens to other people, and for many this will be difficult to come to terms with. The Community Store is about supporting friends and neighbours during these unprecedented times. The Community Store & The Food Bank at St Marks are here to assist with food, personal hygiene, sanitary and domestic cleaning products. Fridges and freezers donated by our residents mean that The Community Store can also offer eggs, dairy products and frozen produce. For more information go to https://godalming-tc.gove.uk/community-
