Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing the Mournes Seven Challenge 10th August 2019, to raise funds for Fiona's Eye fund.  This charity is close to my heart as it was set up in 2008 in memory of my big sister Fiona, who was a phenomenal and inspirational woman.  Fiona's eye charity focuses on improving eyecare in developing countries and helping to restore eyesight to people with cataract blindness.

This will be a big challenge as my sense of direction is not the best but I have purchased a map and compass and hoping to get some support along the way.  The charity has done many visits and cataracts camps in Ethiopia and has a clinic in Dembi Dollo.  People in the developing countries will often have to trek longer distance by foot to access eye care.
