How do everyone!!
Ta very much for visiting my page. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE DONATED TO VSO!!! I'm absolutely chuffed to bits that I've reached my minimum target, and I really really appreciate all the help! If people would still like to donate who haven't yet, you can still do so via this site, everything goes to the charity!
This year I am taking part in a 6 month Global XChange volunteer placement with VSO, a charity in which volunteers share skills with communities overseas and in the UK. My placement is in Malawi starting on the 12th March to early June, and then in Kings Lynn in Norfolk from mid June to September, where I will be part of a team of 18 people, 9 from the UK and 9 from Malawi. This opportunity through VSO will enable me to be involved in development projects where I will be working alongside communities. To show my committment for volunteering with VSO, the charity ask that we fundraise a minimum of 600 pounds, and as a way of fundraising I have done a 30 mile cycle from Leeds to Skipton, which took place on the 17th January. I am also fundraising through holding bun sales and I organised a ceilidh dance which was a right hoot! I would be immensely grateful if all you lovely people could provide a donation whereby every penny raised goes directly to the work of VSO.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Voluntary Service Overseas gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Many thanks me dearies! :) xxxxxxxxx
