Hi everyone!

I have signed up for the Women versus Cancer London to Paris bike ride in September 2018. We start off from central London and finish at the Arc de Triomphe. This is 240 miles or 380 kilometres and it isn't all downhill! I have signed up with my 4 friends Alison, Jackie, Cat and Naomi and together we are the Gosforth Girl Cycling Team!

I have started my training already and it has literally been an uphill struggle! Luckily I have amazing family and friends who have been encouraging me and dragging me out on the bike.

I have seen the affect cancer has on families both personally and professionally and if I can help with this and raise funds for onward research then it is most definitely a worthwhile cause.

Along the way I also hope to get fitter and stronger as well as learning how to use cleats and understand how to change a bike tyre!
