Paris Half-Marathon · 4 March 2012

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

UPDATE: Finished safe and sound on the 4th, and managed to just make it under 2 hours (1:57)! (while sporting my Alzheimer's vest of course)

Once again, thank you all for the amazing support.

-----------------

As some of you know I'm running the Paris half marathon on March 4th, inspired by other friends who have run for a good cause (among them full marathon runners). I decided to fundraise for the Alzheimer's Foundation as this is a cause that has recently affected someone I love very dearly.

Two years ago I injured my knee and until recently I hadn't really run more than 20 minutes pain-free. My goal now is to finish the 21k in 2 hours or less... But just finishing will be a big step!!

I hope you will support me and the Alzheimer's Foundation. Contributions of all sizes are much appreciated!

Thanks for your support,

Clara
