My Husband, Stuart David Blackwell and our beloved family dog, Oscar were killed instantly by a 21year old driver, who for reasons yet unknown to us, lost control of his vehicle, crossed a carriageway of traffic and mounted a pavement behind Stuart and Oscar. The driver DID NOT stop, but handed himself into police approx. fours after my Husband was killed. The investigation is not yet complete. My Husband was just an ordinary guy who took good care of himself and his family and ofcourse dear Oscar. He walked the same route at the same time of day every week day for 8 years, without mishap or event until 7:40am on Friday 14th December 2012.

Stuarts' parents, Sister, Brother In Law, my parents, wider family,the local community, work colleagues, friends and finally myself and our darling Daughter have gone through Hell these past few weeks and our journey is not yet over.

We cannot bring Stuart and Oscar back but by raising money in their memory, I dearly hope we can save other families from going through what is currently happening to us.

So please dig deep and donate now educate inexperienced drivers and support bereaved families.
