As you may know, each year we raise money for Alder Hey at Christmas. Ivy spent her first Christmas at Alder Hey and has had various operations there since. In the past we have made up gift bags for the children and parents spending Christmas on the wards, purchased Disney cuddly toys for the children and last year we did a just giving page. Due to Covid the hospital aren’t accepting donations at the moment so once again we will be raising money this way.

This year we would like to raise money to purchase items for Ward 1c (the cardiac ward) and these items have been requested by the play therapists who Ivy has seen recently. They would like to raise money to purchase Nintendo switch games as a Nintendo switch has been donated to the ward but they currently only have one game. Nintendo switch games cost around £20 each. They have also requested some orchard toys games for the younger children. These games are  around £8-10. We would love to raise as much as we can and the money will be allocated to purchase these items before Christmas.
