Hola everyone. I know you must be thinking I am totally bonkers to embark on this challenge with everything that I have to juggle in my already busy and very happy life. But I have always said I wanted to complete another marathon and when Streetsport offered me this place I decided it is now or never.

It has been an interesting journey with my training so far and i have learnt a great deal about me, plus I have had plenty of thinking time to enable me to think and plan what is for dinner during the week ahead! Anything to help the miles tick by. I have met some lovely friends along the way and I am driven to complete this distance knowing I am raising money for such a good cause - Streetsport.

For those of you that do not know much about them they offer an safe and fun environment for children who are disadvantaged. Enabling them to play sport, make friends, talk to adults or mentors about their concerns and worries, but also offer these children some direction whether that be career support or just something to look forward to a couple of times a week. I have attended a number of sessions and this is such a clever charity that is offering really important help to children on our doorsteps. 

I would really appreciate it if you would support me in my quest to complete 26.2 miles and help Streetsport to continue to make a difference to local children in Aberdeen.
