Story
As Roundabout's Fundraising and Communications Manager, I wanted to support all our amazing abseilers on the big day and what better way to do that than by joining everyone taking part.
I've not abseiled before and I expect my legs will turn to jelly but if I don't give it a go I'll regret it!
I would like my kids to see that I am fearless and inspire them that they can do anything if they put their mind to it. I am going to have to put on a brave face, my big girl pants (Sara!) and go for it!

Roundabout is Sheffield's youth homeless charity. Every day, we provide shelter and support to over 180 young people in Sheffield who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Your donations will help provide a safe place for young people and help us to provide the support and life skills to help break the cycle of homelessness. Your support will go a long way to changing the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield.
Our work is a lifeline for many and supports the young people we work with to prepare for a better future. From £5 which would buy bedding for a young person when they move into the hostel or their own flat to £5,000 which will house a young person for a full year – it all makes a difference to some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield.
