Hi, My name is Clare and I am running the marathon for the first time!!! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running this marathon to raise funds for our local RSPCA Centre. I work there as the receptionist so I see first hand the many abused, injured and neglected animals that stream through our doors. Your kind donations WILL make a difference to the lives of these animals. It will help to provide veterinary care, food and toys. We are also raising funds for a ferret unit . We have many abused or stray ferrets arriving via our Inspectors so this is urgently needed. The branch is self funding and not funded by the national headquarters. We rely on the generosity of the local community in order that we can continue with our valuable work.
