My colleagues and I within the Specialist Mental Health and Substance Misuse Homeless Team will swapping our beds for a sleeping bag and spending the night on the streets.

Around 1 in 400 (0.3%) of veterans said they were homeless, rough sleeping, or living in a refuge in the UK.

Veterans are the hero’s that were once fighting for us when needed, and now we are fighting for them by raising vital funds and awareness for veterans who are experiencing homelessness in the UK.

We will be taking part in the ‘Great Big Sleep Out’ this March in the hope to raise awareness of the issues our ex servicemen and women encounter .

So please help us to raise much-needed funds for this incredible cause. With every penny raised, Royal British Legion Industries can provide safe, warm housing and ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disability.
