Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you know, Josh is now 5 yrs old severely affected by Cerebral Palsy. Every day, he fights battles and meets challenges with determination, bravery and a smile. He still cannot roll or sit, but he is making amazing progress with his communication via eye gaze picture books and computer technology. He is even learning to use the toilet. This has been entirely due to the belief, encouragement and expertise of his school- the PACE centre.
The Childrens Challenge is more than a Sports day, it’s a mini-Paralympic games. All the children have been working all year on the skills needed for their challenge, overcoming huge difficulties to achieve what most of us take for granted and don’t even think about. Josh’s challenge is to use head switches to target objects. Josh suffers many spasms and involuntary movements, so this is very difficult for him, however he has been working very hard and is making progress. Please donate what you can to support him and help PACE to continue the vital, life changing work that they do.
