Story
My darling mum died of a rare form of Alzheimer's called PCA (Posterior Cortical Atrophy) in February 2025. Watching her deteriorate into a shell of her former fabulous self was heartbreaking and traumatic. There was little we could do. Alzheimer's is a cruel disease, affecting tens of millions of people globally. Currently, there is no cure.
I am lucky enough to have been given a place to run the 2026 TCS London Marathon for Alzheimer's Research UK. The charity is the leading dementia research charity in the UK. Alzheimer's Research UK is striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way dementia is treated, diagnosed and prevented. It is a cause very close to my heart.
Please support me to raise funds to support this hugely worthwhile cause. With your support, we can strive to build a world free from the harm, fear and heartbreak of dementia.
Thank you for supporting me as I run 26.2 miles in honour of my beautiful mum and a cure.
