CDA work to infill the gaps between the hearing world and the Deaf world. Profoundly Deaf people do not speak English and the resulting language deprivation impacts life management abilities. Deaf people require personalised support to translate and explain things a hearing person may find easy.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for the Cumbria deaf association in memory of my Grandad POP. I am taking part in the SBU35 again and this time I will be trying to beat last year's time. It will be 36.5miles (Countryside miles) in under 9hrs. Hope it all goes to plan. I would really appreciate any donations for a special local charity.
