Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. www.feedingdreamscambodia.org is a community based school offering free education and on-site nutritious meals to 800 children living in the slum areas of Siem Reap, Cambodia. Since November 2012 a small team of dedicated humanitarians have worked tirelessly to assist with the sustainable development of the slum areas
Feeding Dreams now have a 15 year lease for an amazing new, expansive site! We will move from our small, over-crowded current school. There we will further establish ourselves as a 'life-line' for this poverty stricken community of over 800 families. We have improved the lives of so many in just 18 months, we can only imagine the impact we will have in this community over 15 years- there will truly be a transformation!
Our new site will be everything this community needs; a international standard education model, a school meals program, a first aid clinic, a sports program, a women's well-being program and an emergency fund for those in critical need and will provide employment to over 30 poverty stricken Khmer locals.
Also on site, Feeding Dreams will construct and launch:

A one year intensive program will include a comprehensive curriculum, an emphasis on practical experience and, of course, essential English skills.
Many teenagers by the age of 14 have previously been forced to drop out of primary school education, or never had the chance to begin, due to poverty. After this age it becomes impossible to gain a formal basic education. With no education, and zero opportunities we firmly believe that the Feeding Dreams Vocational Training Centre will offer young people perhaps their only chance of success.
Feeding Dreams is funded solely by you, the supporter. Raising money to fund our program is a struggle and we are very grateful for all the financial support we get. We urgently need to re-locate to the new site as soon as possible- before the dreaded 'wet-season' is upon us.
