HANNAH’S HEROES
We are walking the Thames Path (100k) on September 13 2014 to raise funds and awareness into Neuroblastoma via NCCA UK.
Neuroblastoma is a rare childhood cancer with a desperately poor prognosis. Clare’s daughter Hannah was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in August 2003. Following intense treatment and 2 relapses she finally lost her battle on 20 January 2010.
There is currently no relapse treatment available in the UK, we want to raise funds to send children with Neuroblastoma to the US for treatment and also to fund research to bring treatment closer to home.
Our challenge for 2014 is to walk the Thames path from Putney Green to Henley (aiming for 20 hours) a total distance of 100k.
