Purple day 2021
Campaign by Epilepsy Society (RCN 206186)
The 26 March is Purple day, a day to raise funds and awareness of epilepsy. Theres no escaping the fact that Purple day may look a little different this year. However, in 2021 there are still so many ways you can make a difference.

Story

The 26 March is Purple day, a day to raise funds, awareness and get people talking about epilepsy. In 2022, support for Purple day is more important the ever.

The amazing U14 girls football team that I manage, AFC Reading Liberty Belles, are playing in their County Cup final on 26th March. They have been phenomenal this season and scored 125 goals in their 18 matches to date, only losing once (in a friendly).

I am pledging to donate £5 for every goal scored in the final (by either team) to support Purple day. The information provided by the Epilepsy Society has been really useful since my diagnosis earlier this year.

If anyone else would like to support this campaign - by either donating or simply coming along to the match to cheer the teams on - then I will be very grateful!

Many thanks, Clare
