Event: London Marathon 2019, on 28 April 2019
Run for a world where violence against women is not tolerated or ignored

Story

I took on the London Marathon on Sunday 28 April 2019 as part of Team Refuge. I am taking on the Serpentine Swim on 21st September 2019 and the 100 mile Ride London bike ride in August 2020. I am hoping to raise over £5,000 for women and children against domestic violence. One woman in four will experience domestic violence at some point in her lifetime and two women are killed each week in England and Wales by a current or former partner. Refuge supports around 6,000 women & children on any given day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called honour based violence. By kindly sponsoring me you are helping to save and change the lives of thousands of women and children escaping domestic violence. Thank you.
