Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a condition which affects the central nervous system and often leads to physical disability.  MS is much more common than many people realise and worldwide it is thought to affect more than 2.5 million people.

Both Clare's mum (Annette) and brother (Luke) have MS and so we have decided to raise money for a MS charity when we run the Dubai Marathon on January 16th 2009.

The charity we have chosen is the Wessex MS Therapy Centre which provides therapies, advice and support for people with multiple sclerosis and their families.
