For Clare, Special Olympics is more than just participating in sport. It’s about sharing knowledge, providing support to her peers and the family bond of the club.
Clare has found many successes thanks to her club in Monaghan, most notably her popular cookbooks which are inconstant high demand!
Clare has overcome many obstacles and reached many goals being a part of Special Olympics for over a decade, but a lack of funding is threatening to put a stop to these goals. Special Olympics Ireland needs your help to keep Clare and other athletes like her doing what they do and love best.
They’ve come so far; they can’t stop now. So please, dig deep and help if you can.
