Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May 2016 I cycled from Brighton to Paris for the Blind Veterans UK 158 miles over 4 days.

It was an honour to cycle with 38 other riders - three of whom were blind and to be supported in raising funds for this great cause. In total we're hoping to raise £30,000 which will support 42 BV members for a whole year.

Our sight must be one our most precious senses and for 100 years BV have been doing an amazing job for our blind ex-service men and women providing them with guidance, free services and support so they can remain independent.

My grandfather was involved with Blind Veterans  (St Dunstan's as it was) then and then the RNIB, so I'm honoured to be riding with three of their members on this inaugural ride.
