Update #2:
Liz completed the London Marathon in 3 hours 47 minutes. As you may have seen, it was very hot that day and Liz was carrying an injury. Thank you Liz for completing the course.
Update:
My friend Liz Cahill is pulling on her running kit to raise money for LAM Action.
Liz took part in the Great Bentley half marathon on 4th Feb and posted a time of 1 hour and 42 minutes. On 20 Feb she will run The Essex 20 .
Then comes the London Marathon on 22nd April. Liz is aiming to set a new personal best for this one and complete the course in less than 3.5 hours.
Finally, the month of May will see Liz take part in the multi-terrain Heritage Marathon on the 4th and the Halstead Marathon on the 13th.
In total she is running over 100 miles.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Lymphangioleiomyomatosis or LAM is a rare lung disease that only occurs in women. It affects just over one person in a million. The average age of onset of LAM in patients in the United Kingdom is 34 years. I was approaching my 26th birthday when I was diagnosed.
I was diagnosed 10 years with LAM - and back then I was told the average life expectancy was 10 years.
So help me "celebrate" beating the odds and raise £10,000 - just £1000 for every year.
Every little counts, so if its £1, £10, £100 or more, please donate.
For more information about LAM go to LAM Action's website
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: LAM Action will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.Clare
