Run Up To Christmas 2019 · 1 December 2019 ·

We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Two years ago in 2017 I took part in Run Up To Christmas for the first time to help raise money for Mind. I ran 50km during advent (1st-25th December) and got into running again for the first time after my injury.

Last year I did it again and managed over 100km in advent and did my highest ever monthly mileage as as a result by the 31st.

So naturally this year I had to try to do 150km during advent. This is a BIG ASK for me. December is busy for everyone. I will need to run in average 6km a day whilst working full time in the general madness that is the run up to Christmas in a school. To make it even more fun many of them will have to be either in the dark or on a treadmill at 6am! I know I can do it. But because it is a bigger challenge (possibly my biggest challenge in some ways) I also want to go further and try and raise so extra money too. So please sponsor me. I am going to try and raise £1 for every 1km I run!

Mental health is VERY important. Please help me  raise money for Mind so they can help more people have more understanding of it!
