When schools reopen, they are going to need the support of ABC to read volunteers more than ever.  Many children will have struggled with their home learning and for some, no reading will have taken place at all.  This means that these children will need extra support to boost their reading skills as well as their levels of self-esteem and confidence.  Schools may find it difficult to contribute towards a reading mentor.  I would like to raise £360 to fund one reading mentor to attend school twice a week and work with three children to change their lives.
