I work as a Dementia Empowerment Coordinator for the Kent and Medway NHS Mental Health and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT). I recruit volunteers to support those living with Dementia in Canterbury and am involved in research and projects with service users at KMPT. My professional background is nursing and I am a keen walker with friends and family in Canterbury so this is a good opportunity to hike with colleagues and raise money for a cause, close to my heart.
