Story
After living in Brighton for almost 10 years I am finally signing up to the Brighton Marathon 50km Bike ride in September. I'm asking for donations for RISE, Brighton’s Domestic abuse charity. I have chosen this charity because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope that you'll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. I've included information about RISE below.
Demand for RISE services increased 3x during lockdown, and demand for our services has remained high ever since. Please support us and help us continue our crucial and lifesaving work.RISE helped over 2,500 people last year and demand increases year on year.
Examples on what donations go towards:
- £5 might buy art materials for a play therapy session for a child traumatised by abuse.
- £20 could go towards a child’s school uniform and equipment to help them into a new, safer, life.
- £50 could help pay for a RISE Helpline worker for half a day.
Freedom from Domestic Abuse.
Facebook pays all the processing fees for you, so 100% of your donation goes directly to the charity.
