Story

We’re a team of 10 extremely novice ‘mountaineers’ from Class Professional Publishing who, on 21st May 2022, will be scaling the heights of Snowdon … in the dark. This is a particular challenge given that the majority of us live on the Somerset Levels, there are only so many times you can climb Glastonbury Tor! But the challenge has been laid at our firmly booted feet and we can’t wait to take part and raise funds for a charity especially close to our hearts, The Ambulance Service Charity (TASC).

TASC is the leading UK charity working to support all currently serving and retired ambulance staff, their families, students and ambulance service volunteers. They are dedicated in supporting the mental, physical and financial wellbeing of the ambulance community and their services include counselling, support with trauma and PTSD, physiotherapy, financial guidance, grants, bereavement support and general wellbeing advice. They also host the National Ambulance Memorial Service every two years.

Ambulance Staff dedicate their lives to supporting and saving others. They see life at its most fragile, often dealing with tragedy on a daily basis. Sometimes they themselves are in need of care and support. TASC's support enhances their well-being during times of need by helping to alleviate pain, suffering and financial hardship.

We would also like to thank the board of Class Publishing who have very kindly offered to cover all costs involved with our Challenge. This means that every penny you donate through this page will go straight to TASC. So, if you can please donate, even just a little, it would be amazing. It all adds up and could make a huge difference to someone's life.
