Tomorrow's People is dedicated to breaking the cycle of unemployment and dependency in deprived communities throughout the UK. By running ground-breaking programmes that focus on the individual, Tomorrow’s People helps the most disadvantaged and hardest to reach people transform their lives through work. Working with young people at risk of falling out of the education system, those with criminal convictions, ex-gang members, carers and care-leavers, people with health problems and those with poor confidence and self-esteem, OUR trained advisers help adults and young people reach their potential, positively impacting not only the individual but family members, peer groups and local communities.

For every £1 Tomorrow’s People invests in a programme, at least £2.40 is returned to society in increased taxes and reduced health, housing and criminal justice costs.

I was first introduced to Tomorrow's People when I started on their Galashiels Works! programme as an incredibly shy individual with absolutely no confidence and no direction in life. The programme gave me the opportunity to do and try so many new things I never would have dreamed of doing, they brought me out of my shell, got me a job, helped me get my life on track and I ended up winning young achiever of the year at a huge awards ceremony in London! This was 2 years ago! and they haven't stopped working with me since :)

I managed to gain a position actually working for Tomorrow's people last November and I absolutely adore it :D

After everything this charity has done for me, I would love to be able to help give back to them so they can continue to help more people like me :)

I need to raise at least £150 before the event so any help would be appreciated!
