I have been living with MDS since 2009, and over the last 10 years I have found key information, personal support, friendship and real purpose through working with the MDS UK Patient Support Group. 

I would like to use my 30+ years of experience as an amateur genealogist to assist others to make a start on their family tree or break down a "brick wall" in their research - while also raising funds for MDS UK.  (Email me on oxfordgroup@mdspatientsupport.org.uk to get the research started!)

MDS UK is the only charity in the UK providing vital support, information and advice, and conducting research solely into Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) - a rarer blood cancer where the bone marrow fails to produce healthy blood cells.
