I love walking and love a good challenge. The Peak District Mighty Hike gives me both AND allows me to fundraise for Macmillan, a charity that helps people diagnosed with cancer.

I will be walking 26 miles from Bakewell to Ashbourne in the Peak district on the 23rd of July to help raise money for Macmillan.

 I have had several family members diagnosed with cancer but would like to dedicate this fundraising and walk to my late godmother and aunt Fernanda Ribeiro. She was an inspiring woman: adventurous, wild, a free spirit might be the best words to describe her. She was diagnosed and passed away due to cervical cancer at an early age but she left her mark on me. I don't think I would be where I am without her impact in my life. 

Macmillan is a charity that helps people diagnosed with cancer and their families. So thank you so much for supporting my fundraising and helping me reach my goal.
