Story

We are taking to the water on South Dock this summer for our chance to become the Dragon Boat Race champions in Canary Wharf whilst raising funds for WaterAid. Did you know? - 1 in 10 people don't have access to clean water. - 1.7 billion people in the world do not have a decent toilet of their own. - Every two minutes a child under five dies from diarrhoeal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. When a community gets clean water and decent toilets for the first time, they also have the power to change their hygiene habits. They can keep themselves and their environment clean, stay healthy and stop diseases spreading, and live dignified lives. Funds raised will make a lasting difference reaching people around the world with clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene. We all need water, no matter who or where we are. And we all need to play our part so that everyone, everywhere can get it.
