My Dad has struggled with his Diabetes for years. After years of many appointments and struggles it took a turn for the worse and started affecting his sight. He was given an ultimatum: Change your relationship with food and lifestyle or loose your sight, so he started running! 

I’m the first lockdown he struggled to run 5K in 45 minutes but he set his sights high and aimed for the GNR. So here we are doing it together. 

Diabetes UK have always been there to support him and the disease itself requires more funding for patients, awareness and support. Therefore we are both running the GNR together to try and raise some money for a much needed charity.
