I am holding a concert and performing in different venues · 14 July 2019

Pro Corda is the UK's leading music charity providing chamber music (small ensemble) training to young people ages 5-24, the UK's largest performing arts programme for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and the National Chamber Music Festival for Schools (CMF).

Story

Pro Corda is a charitable trust that provides chamber music training for young people, from the most talented young musicians in the country to children with special educational needs and disabilities.

I am 16 years old and have been attending week long courses, twice a year since I was 9. These have been inspirational for me! I have been privileged to be coached by some of the world's leading players. The courses offer a wide range of musical workshops and activities, from intensive focus on at least two chamber pieces, to orchestral work, improvisation and musicianship, not to mention the social aspect - some of my best friends have been made through Pro Corda. In addition, Pro Corda strive to make their courses available to people from all different backgrounds.

I have been lucky enough to be selected alongside a small group of students, to perform in several concerts in Florence this October. Because of this I am raising money to support the brilliant work that Pro Corda do, so that as many young people as possible can have the opportunity to benefit from it.

I would be grateful and delighted for any donations! 😃
