I’m part of a team fundraising effort and this walk is out of my comfort zone!

A bit about it:

The walk can be up to 10 miles long, and crosses  two river channels including the River Kent. This is usually between knee and thigh high, cold and often fast flowing. It will be arduous and takes about 4hours depending on the route. The last part of the walk over the salt marsh involves crossing gullies, these can be quite wide and slippery so walkers need to be agile enough (!) to get across.

I’m excited as I’ve never been to this part of the Uk and very happy to raise some funds for Bex’s chosen charity which is close to her family’s heart. Just hoping clearing up destruction all day, lifting a massive toddler and the odd 30min run will stand me in good stead.
