I was rescued from a pool at age 10.  My parents witnessed the situation, but neither could swim.  in 1993, I joined the YMCA and immediately registered my children for swim lessons - we all learned together.  I've created this page because I want to inspire you to make a difference in a child learning to swim. I'm inspired by the work of the YMCA and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my commitment to community.  The more people that know about the YMCA and it's charitable efforts to the community, the greater the impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
